Mexico Sephora St. Tropez Event

Recently I was invited to celebrate Sephora's 1 year anniversary at the Antara Mall in Mexico and I wanted to share with you some of my favorite moments.

As the US Brand Ambassador for St. Tropez I had the opportunity to meet with the Sephora PR/Marketing team in Mexico who greeted me with open arms for their great celebration.

During my eventful trip I was introduced to amazing beauty editors from InStyle, Marie Claire, Elle, Cosmopolitan Magazine, Reforma (Mexico's largest newspaper) and Sephora's own video network Mx Tv. as well as NYLON Tv Mexico.

St. Tropez had a lovely cabana for demonstrations and interviews where clients lined up to experience first hand how great the products worked instantly.

Sephora went the extra mile to bring customer awareness to the event and brought in a DJ, live music, cake cutting and mini booths; making it one of the best celebrations I've attended.

I'm already counting the days before I return to Mexico as I had a lovely experience visiting and meeting so many warm and beautiful people. If you get a chance to visit the Antara Mall stop by Sephora and personally see one of their best locations ever.

Remember, Try St. Tropez for a gorgeous, even tan and golden color (anytime of the day, anywhere in the world, anytime time of the year!)

 

Telemundo Interview

Last month Telemundo 47 interviewed me at Deva Spa in Soho and I wanted to share with all of you the video (in Spanish):

As we all know Beyoncé was named the most beautiful woman in the world by People Magazine and many of you just like Telemundo have asked how to achieve her special glow. In my video interview you will find how easy it is to get her look:

1)     1. Use Motives Baked Eye Shadow Trio in Affluent in the inner corner of your eye to make it pop (the lighter shade is suggested).

2)     2. Apply my favorite St. Tropez Bronzer to warm up your face and give it a healthy beachy look.

3)     3. Try Tarte Cosmetics Amazonian Bright Pink Blush on the apples of your cheeks.

4)     4. A dap of Tarte Maracuja Divine Shine Lip Gloss will enhance your lips and make them look fuller.

5)     5. Complete the look by using St. Tropez Illuminating Cream in Gold on your cheekbones by applying it with a Beautyblender.

Baby News

47 days ago my husband and I welcomed our son Mason Anthony to this beautiful world. We couldn't be any happier to have him with us as he brought enormous joy to both of our families. Mason is spoiled with lots of love on a daily basis and he means the world to my husband and I.

Besides sharing the news about Mason I wanted to put together a quick update with some must-have products for your baby's skin that I lately discovered all while starting my journey as a new mom. 

Taking care of a baby' skin from head to toe while preventing cradle cap can be frustrating as there are so many products out there promising to take care of their dry scalp/skin, but two in particular have worked wonders and I wanted to share them with you today:

Mustela Foam Shampoo for Newborns

Besides this shampoo smelling amazing, it is safe and easy to use with a foam texture that won't sting or run into your baby's eyes. I love that it prevents skin from drying and helps remove/limit cradle cap development.  

Essentially the perfect gift for new moms and their baby!

Weleda Calendula Oil

I love using this oil on my son and applying it to his scalp right after his bath. Massage or brush your baby's head with this oil as it gently cares and protects their delicate skin. The oil helps maintain moisture and is ideal for a calm smoothing baby massage.  My whole family loves the smell so make sure to try it and spoil your little one with lots of love too!

Latina.com Smoky Eye Video

Recently I had the pleasure of having Latina Magazine visit me at    Mint The Salon in NY for a makeup video on how to accomplish the perfect smoky eye. My beautiful model was Jessica Caban and I could not have asked for a nicer, more gorgeous Latina for the feature (Thanks Melissa Swider and Top 5 Management for the introduction).

1. Pür Minerals Natures Paradise Palette: Light Gold Shadow

3. Pür Intensity Gel Liner in Carbon

4. Pür Minerals Triple Impact Mascara

Use the Natures Paradise Palette for your eyeshadow and apply the light gold color over your lid from lash line to brow bone. Then use the dark brown shadow very lightly on your lid from lash line to crease.

Intensify this dark shadow on the crease in a back and forth motion to make your eye appear deeper.

Take the Intensity Gel Liner from the inner corner of the eye across the lid and extend it at the corner for a cat-eye effect.  Don't forget to line the lower lid and blend with a little dark shadow for a softer effect.

Use the Triple Impact Mascara on both upper and lower lashes to finish your perfect smoky eye.
